Singapore, September 2017: HokuApps, a global leader in rapid application development platform, announces the appointment of Howard U as the Senior Manager, managing Emerging Markets.

Howard is responsible for the augmentation of HokuApps growth plans in the Singapore headquarters as well as emerging markets such as Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines. His growth plans include sales & marketing initiatives and collaboration with local partners to extend out his reach within the emerging markets. He will be working closely with Deniel Singh to aggressively grow HokuApps.

Prior to this role, Howard was employed as a Business Manager in Rainmaker Labs which specializes in custom solutions on both mobile and web platform. While working in a startup environment, he managed to secure enterprise accounts such as Marina Bay Sands, Daimler South East Asia, Kao, and KPMG. He was able to instill confidence in them through relationship management and his professionalism. Howard has also taken the initiative to be creative in his solution offerings to his prospects. Hence, he was responsible for signing up strategic partners namely Adaptive and Nexmo to be part of our integrated mobility solution offerings.

Howard started his sales career as an independent distributor selling health products during his university days in Melbourne Australia. He managed to generate sales through door-to-door sales, cold calling, and networking. His proven leadership coupled with passion allowed him to distribute his products in various regions such as Malaysia, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
